What is Canele


A Canelé is originated as a specialty of the Bordeaux region of France, it is a small French pastry flavored with rum and vanilla with a soft and tender custard center and a dark, thick caramelized crust. The meaning of Canele is fluted in English, took from the shapes of molds.

The Flour’s Canelé resonate from traditional method of Bordeaux, by keeping the same technique but also elevating them with our own twist of flavors using Australia’s finest seasonal ingredients.
